🐾 Pets in the Park – May 3
Where: Valley Park, Hermosa Beach
When: 10:30 AM – 1:00 PM
Calling all pet parents! This one’s for you (and your furry family). Pets in the Park is a heartwarming celebration that includes face painting, a dog parade, blessing of the animals, and even professional pet portraits. You’ll also find local pet shops, food vendors, raffle prizes, and plenty of tail wags. It’s the cutest event of the season!
🎸 BeachLife Festival – May 3–5
Where: 250 N Harbor Dr, Redondo Beach
This iconic beachside festival brings together epic music, art, and culinary delights—right on the sand. Imagine catching a sunset while listening to your favorite band with your toes in the sand. Whether you’re into rock, reggae, or indie vibes, there’s something for every music lover here. Bonus: great food and beachy cocktails.
🏕️ Family Campout – May 17–18
Where: Manhattan Heights Park
Unplug for a night and reconnect with nature—and each other! The Family Campout is an overnight experience that includes arts and crafts, classic camp-style activities, a BBQ dinner, nighttime snacks, and a movie under the stars. After a cozy night in your tent, wake up to the smell of a fresh pancake breakfast. It’s the perfect low-key getaway without leaving town.
🎡 Fiesta Hermosa – May 25–27
Where: Hermosa Beach
Mark your calendars for Memorial Day weekend! Fiesta Hermosa is a long-standing favorite packed with carnival games, live music, shopping, and some seriously good eats. From local artisans and food trucks to family-friendly entertainment, it’s a weekend of fun in the sun for all ages.
