FEMA Disaster Assistance

Federal aid is available to support wildfire survivors, offering financial assistance and housing relief.

How to Apply:

  • Online: Visit DisasterAssistance.gov.
  • Mobile: Use the FEMA mobile app.
  • Phone: Call the FEMA Helpline at 800-621-3362.

Property Tax Relief

If your property was damaged or destroyed, you may qualify for a temporary reduction in property taxes through the Los Angeles County Assessor’s Office.

How to Apply:

  1. Download the Misfortune & Calamity Claim Form.
  2. Complete and submit the form within 12 months of the damage.
  3. Once approved, eligible properties will receive a temporary reassessment, lowering property taxes during the recovery process.
