They will have all the supplies your kiddos will need to show off their creativity, and the Easter Bunny will be hopping around to meet and greet with the whole family!
🐋 Whale of a Day – Point Vicente Interpretive Center

Celebrate the return of migrating whales at the annual Whale of a Day festival! This free, family-friendly event features interactive exhibits, educational presentations, guided walks, and kid-friendly activities. Visitors can learn about the marine life of the Pacific and enjoy hands-on experiences with local scientists and conservationists.
With spectacular ocean views and a variety of activities for all ages, it’s the perfect way to experience South Bay nature and the spring whale migration.
🐣 SpringFest 2026 – South Bay Spring Festival
Date: Thursday, April 16 – Sunday, April 19, 2026
Location: Redondo Beach Performing Arts Center, North Redondo Beach
Celebrate spring with community fun at SpringFest 2026, the South Bay’s signature spring festival presented by North Redondo Beach Business Association! This four‑day event offers free admission and fun for all ages, blending classic carnival vibes with family‑friendly entertainment.
Enjoy carnival rides and games, live music and entertainment, delicious food and international fare, plus a beer, wine & spirits garden and a lively community marketplace featuring local vendors and student entrepreneurs. Wristbands for rides are available for purchase, and there’s plenty to explore throughout the weekend.
With amazing entertainment, activities for kids, and community spirit in the heart of North Redondo Beach, SpringFest 2026 is the perfect way to welcome the season.
